The Studio program
Take individual Pilates, Ballet Conditioning, and Integrative Movement classes or blend all three in our unique program which goes beyond the ordinary; the Studio Class. It's creative, challenging, and fun!!!
- Regular practice of Pilates exercise will develop flexibility, endurance, and core strength. It was Joseph Pilates' aim, and the aim in our studio, to help people enliven more than just our bodies: our whole selves.
- Integrative Movement sessions provide a foundation for developing inner awareness, creativity, balance, breath support, and easeful mobility.
- The Ballet conditioning classes develop coordination, rhythm, posture, and a sense of gracefulness.
Combining these three approaches helps you to integrate mind, body, and inner self in a way that you cannot find elsewhere. Relax, breathe, and move in a whole new way.

Integrative Movement Sessions
A Creative Approach to Health Enhancement
Private and small group sessions for people who wish to find freedom of expression through movement, aim to develop individualized choreography, or prepare for college dance programs which incorporate Laban Movement Analysis, Bartenieff Fundamentals, Language of Dance Notation, and Pilates.
Emphasis is on the dynamic and recuperative aspects of movement as a means of exploring and expressing thoughts or feelings, and methods for understanding the complex relationships between movement and meaning.
Utilizing the systems created by Rudolph Laban and Irmgard Bartenieff, students practice observing and creating movement based on four elements: Body (what is moving); Space (where it is going); Shape (what pathway it takes); and Effort (the quality with which it is imbued). The exploration of these systems develops precise and insightful observers, as well as open, expressive, daring, and skilled movers.
